PJ earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Baylor University.  She moved to New Jersey after college and was in Public and Government Relations, spending much of her time in Washington D.C.   PJ became a certified teacher through Rutgers University and started her teaching career in New Jersey.  She earned her Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. PJ has over two decades of teaching experience ranging from first grade through high school.  She has taught in New Jersey, Georgia and the Houston, TX area.  She has served as a Classroom Teacher, Instructional Specialist, Academic Team Leader, Special Education Case Manager and Administrative Intern.  She most recently taught Special Education and English at Taylor High School in Taylor, TX  for 8 years before coming to Lake Travis High School in 2022.  PJ lives in Cedar Park with her husband, 5 kids and 3 dogs.

Jill grew up in Dallas and came to Austin to attend The University of Texas from which she graduated with a degree in Advertising. She began her teaching career in Mexico City where she found her love for education. This is Jill’s 20th year at LTHS, having spent 18 of those years as a special education teacher. Her passion as a student advocate is helping students find their strengths and empowering their learning. Her three children are LT grads and Lakeway has been her home for 22 years. She currently has 4 dogs and a cat and travels with her husband every chance she gets.
