VOE Request

 

Students needing Verification of Enrollment (VOE) for a driver's license or permit must complete and submit the Verification of Enrollment Request Form. Once submitted, please allow 48 hours for processing.

Students will not receive a confirmation nor will the VOE be emailed to you. Students may pick up their VOE at the LTHS main building Attendance Office.

The Texas Compulsory Attendance Law requires a student to attend 90% of the class periods a class is offered each semester in order to receive credit. That means a student cannot miss more than 10% of the days of a given course in order to receive credit. The 90% attendance rule also applies when determining VOE eligibility. Any student violating the 90% rule will be ineligible to receive a VOE and must make a plan with their Assistant Principal to establish conditions for the student to meet in order to receive the VOE. 

Should you need a VOE over the summer, please wait until the last week of school to request a VOE. VOEs dated the last week of school will be valid through the summer.
