Meeting Day/Time: Wednesday Mornings monthly

Meeting Location: M116

The Lake Travis High School Sailing Team is a SEISA certified sailing team stationed out of the Austin Yacht Club in Lakeway, Texas. We represent Lake Travis all across the state and are also already on our way to representing Lake Travis nationally. Practices are very much enjoyed by our sailors which are hosted twice a week across two seasons (March-June spring season or August-November fall season) on Lake Travis. The team sails on boats called FJ’s (Flying Juniors) which are 16 feet long two-person boats that are fun and easy to sail, yet challenging to master.

We have been having practices at the Austin Yacht Club for several years and have many members. Some of our sailors have been sailing for years and will be looking forward to having 1 on 1 sailing session with you. Other of our sailors have been sailing for a year or two and are already making a statement at the state level. Others have just started sailing with no experience. But of course, we welcome you no matter if you have years of experience, or have never even been on a boat in your life.
