Food Insecurity Awareness Club

Purpose – The purpose of this club shall be:
1. To raise awareness of food insecurity in Texas.
2. To work with other food insecurity specialists.
3. To volunteer at organizations that share the same objectives.
4. To organize school and possibly district-wide food drives.
LT Life & Balance club

The primary purpose of our Health and Wellness Club is to build a supportive and inclusive community where members can connect both mentally and physically. We aim to promote overall well-being by encouraging a balanced lifestyle that integrates mindfulness, physical activity, and healthy habits. Through activities such as yoga, pilates, hiking, and nutrition education, we hope to help each other stay focused on our studies while also tuning into what our bodies and minds truly need. Together, we strive to create a space where we can grow, learn, and support one another on our wellness journeys.

Refugee Awareness Club

To create awareness of the refugee situation in our community and local area, help refugees and their families arriving into our school district and area by organizing drives for items they may need, discuss the laws on refugee and asylum seeker rights to understand what the issues are and what could be improved, and engage with local academics to try to gain a deeper understanding of the issues that refugees and asylum seekers may face when they move here.
Stroke Awareness Club

This club serves to spread awareness on the topic of strokes, their causes, treatments, and prognosis as well as provide members with volunteering opportunities.

Cards for Kindness is all about spreading positivity and compassion in our community. We create and distribute heartfelt kindness cards to brighten people's days. Lake Travis United focuses on connecting with the Special Olympic athletes by attending their practices. These practices are a great opportunity to get volunteer hours, but also gain friendships with the athletes. We also have fundraisers where all the proceeds are donated to Lake Travis Special Olympics for new equipment or anything that they need to support the athletes.

The primary purpose of the Helpful Hearts Club is to serve foster children and less fortunate youth in our community by providing meaningful support, raising awareness of their unique challenges, and fostering a culture of empathy and inclusivity within our school.
Helpful Hearts Club is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of foster kids and students in need by organizing fundraising events, donation drives, and volunteering efforts in partnership with TRAC Austin and other community organizations. Through our initiatives, we strive to raise awareness, promote kindness, and empower students to engage in service. By participating in volunteer opportunities, contributing yearly dues, and taking on leadership roles, members help create a supportive community that values compassion, action, and change.
